What on earth am I doing?

My major in USTC is DYNAMIC MECHANICS, which mainly deals with the material property and the system response under high velocity impact.

e.g.:

The damage to the car during an accident
The response of the head when hammered

During my 11 years of study in USTC, I've participated many research projects of my supervisor (Prof. Jilin Yu). Here are a few of them:

Calibration of Hopkinson Pressure Bar for China Army Force
Software: Borehole Stability Ver.2.0
Adiabatic Shear Band detect by C-Scan(in LNM, CAS)
System Design & Maintance our Departmental Network
The relationship between the Micro-Structure & the Macro-Mechanical Properties of Diamond Film
Dynamic Elastic-Plastic Response for the Structures (will be my Ph.D thesis)

After these years of study and research in USTC, I'm got the solid foundation in Dynamic Mechanics and using these instruments for the purpose of research:

Hopkinson Pressure Bar
MTS Test Star
Light Gas Gun
VISAR (Velocity Inteferometer System for Any Reflector)
